4th of July Parade

On the 4th of July, our neighborhood had a childrens parade which ended in our park. The kids decorated their bikes and Matt went with them on the route. The kids had a lot of fun and I was glad to be back home from the hospital to see them off. After the parade there was popiscles and a bounce house to entertain them. Matt said the kids ate a lot of popiscles. They didn't even want lunch that day. I guess that is what holidays are all about. Later that night my parents and brother came over and we had a barbeque and lit fireworks. This was the first 4th that we have ever been at our house to shoot fireworks. We didn't know that we have some crazy neighbors who put on a great pyro show. Next year we'll have to have everyone at our house for fireworks.
