Matt took the kids to a minor league baseball game last weekend. We had bought tickets through a little league fundraiser and had to be used up by the end of the season. The kids loved it and talked all about the bounce house and fireworks. Funny how they didn't really talk about the actual game. On Labor Day Matt decided to make a rocket with the boys. He found some plans online and enjoyed building it with the boys. Then they spent some time shooting 2 liter bottles high into the air in the backyard and the neighborhood park. Matt admitted later that he enjoyed it as much or more than the children.

Make sure Matt hangs onto the bottle rocket launcher until he's a scout leader-our cubmaster has one and it has been used at multiple pack meetings. Fun!
