We had a nice family party for Ethan and Conner this year. It was one of those busy spring evenings but they didn't care it was their day. Luckily it rained so some of the sporting activities were cancelled. They really wanted bigger bikes so they were thrilled to get their Razors. We had actually bought them in January and stored them all winter in our shed. They were really surprised. They also got lots of other fun things from family.
The boys also bought themselves bee bee guns with their birthday money. We had told them before that they would only get a gun if they bought it with their own money (I am not a big fan of guns). We figured they would have to save a years worth of allowance to get them. We hadn't thought about birthday money, oh well. They only use them when Matt is with them and are locked away in the meantime. I guess I just have to accept that they are getting older and they are doing older things.
They are both great boys and we are lucky to have them in our family.
